The 6th Global Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Congress took place in Melbourne, Australia from 3-6 December 2024.

The theme for this international congress was Ethics, Equity and Emerging Ideas with a focus on ethics and innovation in treatment and practices, the use of technology, and equity across low- and middle-income countries, priority populations, and early career researchers and clinicians.

It is the world’s most significant gathering of medical professionals and advocates in AYA cancer care in one venue. This Congress, we hosted over 470 international delegates from 39 countries including health care professionals and health executives from across the medical, nursing, allied health, and psychosocial care fields, as well as AYA consumers and patient advocates who played a crucial role in centring lived experience.
